Refereeing is a way for "lifers" to really get involved in the
club, while having fun and getting paid. The Club will be holding a
referee class at the end of the summer for any who are interested in
getting certified as referees in the state of
Florida.
After
the class, you will have the skills necessary to control a field in
both recreational and competitive games. Refereeing is a great way to
get work experience, leadership skills, and a better understanding of
the game.
There is no age minimum to take the class, but we prefer
children 12 and older. Parents and coaches, there is also no age limit,
so you can take the class too!
Schedules are flexible, and there is plenty of time to be both a player and a referee.
For more information about the class, please contact referee assignor William Tignor at
